GYROTONIC®
The Gyrotonic® Method is an original and unique movement system that treats the body as a whole, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and enhancing movement strength and efficiency.
With Gyrotonic® exercises, each movement flows into the next, allowing joints to move through their natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully designed sequences create balance, efficiency, strength, and flexibility. The Gyrotonic® Method uses specialized equipment to guide, assist, and challenge the body throughout the movement.
People from all walks of life practice Gyrotonic®, including fitness enthusiasts, seniors, high-performance athletes, and those undergoing rehabilitation or with physical limitations. Gyrotonic® exercises help athletes improve their performance and aid individuals in rehabilitation to recover more quickly and fully from injury.
The Gyrotonic® Method is offered in group or private classes under the guidance of a certified instructor. At Pilates & Co., we have six Pulley Towers available for group classes of up to six participants, as well as personalized sessions with our team. Additionally, our Gyrotonic® studio is equipped with a Jumping Stretching Board to enrich your private sessions or Gyrokinesis® classes.
At Pilates & Co., you can take Gyrotonic® classes as a student or train to become an instructor, as we have been a certified training center since 2016. You can complete the Pre-Trainer Gyrotonic® Level 1 and Pre-Trainer Gyrokinesis® Level 1 courses with Mònica Fontseca and perform your practical training at our studio. Additionally, you can attend specialized training sessions with Lucrezia Caricola (www.gyrotonicroma.com) and other international Master Trainers to further your education.
